This centre engages with elected representatives and officials from local governments across India and global Supreme Audit Institutions, aiming to enhance public auditing standards. With over 2.5 lakh panchayats and 7,000 municipal bodies in the country, such initiatives are crucial for effective policy execution and development efforts.
