Motorola has introduced its 2024 Razr Plus and Razr models, boasting significant upgrades in design and functionality (CNET). The new foldable phones come in vibrant colors and feature larger cover screens, enhanced cameras, and innovative Moto AI capabilities. The Razr Plus, priced at $1,000, offers a 4-inch cover screen, a Snapdragon 8S Gen 3 chip, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera. The more affordable Razr, at $700, includes a 3.6-inch cover screen and a MediaTek Dimensity 7300x chip. Both models promise improved durability with a smaller hinge and water resistance rating of IPX8.
Moto AI and New Moto Tag Enhance User Experience
The Razr Plus incorporates Moto AI, providing advanced camera features like improved portraits and long exposure images. A standout feature, “Style Sync,” creates original wallpapers matching the user’s attire. Additionally, Motorola introduced the Moto Tag, a Bluetooth tracker compatible with all Android phones, which can locate phones and act as a remote shutter button. The Moto Tag will be available in August for $30.
Preorders and Availability
Preorders for the Razr Plus and Razr begin on July 10 at major retailers, with prices set at $US1,000 ($AU1498.75) and $US700 ($AU1049.13), respectively. The phones will be available unlocked on Amazon, Best Buy, and Motorola’s website from July 24.
