By adopting and adapting relevant technologies, Papua New Guinea can fast-track its development process, shrinking timelines for overcoming obstacles from decades to just a few years. This approach could significantly enhance the country’s ability to address issues more efficiently and inclusively.

Michael Kumung, Deputy Secretary of the Department of National Planning and Monitoring, underscored the importance of innovative research, science, and technology in transforming Papua New Guinea.
