Sir Gibbs acknowledged the judiciary’s evolution in handling cybercrime but noted that legislation lags behind the rapid advancements in technology. He called for international collaboration, urging judiciaries to share strategies and insights to address cross-border cybercrimes effectively. The lack of consensus at the United Nations level further complicates the creation of comprehensive legal frameworks to combat these modern threats.
