Dr. Rumman Chowdhury, a leading AI expert, will present at the University of the South Pacific’s (USP) Japan-Pacific ICT Theatre, Suva, on August 7, 2024 (This Wednesday, at 12midday Fiji Time). Her talk, “Exploring the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Waves in the Pacific – Opportunities and Impacts,” will explore how AI can enhance learning and foster critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Dr. Chowdhury, the CEO of Humane Intelligence and a prominent figure in AI ethics, will also discuss significant challenges like data security, privacy violations, and algorithmic biases.
