Microsoft’s AI Tool Now Fixes Errors in Real-Time
Microsoft has introduced a new “correction” feature in its Azure AI Studio, designed to detect and correct inaccuracies in AI-generated content, The Verge reports. This tool identifies errors by comparing outputs with a customer’s source data, highlights mistakes, and rewrites the incorrect content before it reaches the user. While the correction system aims to combat AI “hallucinations” and vulnerabilities, Microsoft acknowledges it may still make errors. This effort parallels Google’s Vertex AI, which checks AI outputs against multiple data sources. The correction feature is now available in preview and is part of Microsoft’s broader AI safety toolkit.
Editor’s Comment: Don’t we all wish we had a ten-second delay where we could censor some of the dumber things we’ve said. Kudos to Microsoft for improving accuracy and reducing AI brain farts in the workplace.
